321 stainless steel plates are part of the austenitic family of stainless steel. 321 is basically a 304 grade containing a stabilizer of titanium. Type 321 is a good choice for applications where heat is an issue. 321 can be used in applications up to 900°C where 304 is normally used up to 500°C.

UNS-N08330 SS330 stainless steel
330 is an austenitic, nickel-chromium-iron-silicon alloy. It combines excellent resistance to carburization and oxidation at temperatures up to 2200 F(1200 C) with high strength. Extensively used in high temperature environments where resistance to the combine effects of thermal cycling and carburization is necessary.

Stainless Steel 321/321H Sheet/Plates
SS 321 Sheets continues to be employed for prolonged service in the 800 Degree F to 1500 Degree F (427 Degree C to 816 Degree C) temperature range. Slightly tougher than other alloys, SS 321 Plates will produce the same tough stringy chips. A preheating is not necessary for SS 321 Coils, where a heat treatment after welding is normally not usual. 321 Stainless Steel Sheets has good creep strength up to 1500 Degree F, along with good resistance to inter-granular corrosion in the as welded condition.

321 stainless is a titanium stabilized grade commonly used for service in the 1000-1600°F temperature range. For service temperatures up to about 1600°F, a stabilizing treatment at 1550-1650°F, air cool, may be used to provide optimum resistance to intergranular corrosion and to polythionic acid stress corrosion cracking.
